~ So tell me, what did you all think? ??? Hopefully, the flash forward is a misdirect! ( ಠ▿▿ಠ)و ̑̑ I’m curious to see how the new characters come into play, how Raphael plans to explain his pro-murder of Lilith stance, and what Mephistopheles might reveal about the workings of Devildom society.Īnd I really hope Thirteen isn’t gonna be portrayed as acting superior to MC - getting a character who isn’t a dude is such a great thing, I’d really hate to see her stereotyped in that way. It’s been four seasons guys, can we stop treating Mammon like dirt?! Especially when the player/MC is forced to join in the kicking :( I really like that MC’s own powers are both acknowledged and demonstrated - they are no longer someone who can be transported or held anywhere they don’t want to be!īut it’s pretty sucky to see Mammon getting kicked over and over and over again. there is not much time with Lucifer, Mammon, or Levi (or Diavolo or Barbatos)īolded are the ones I take more personally xD.the bonus story part contains yet more insulting of Mammon.we are forced to flirt with Asmo (of two choices, both are flirtatious).we are forced to insult Mammon (of two choices, both are insults).
there is minimal Lucifer time especially.Simeon is in hard mode only, no Luke, minimal Solomon.ending seems to suggest we get choice in residency though it’s likely another faux choice like the teleportation destination.allowed a choice regarding bros/royals that effects intimacy (though the actual destination is a faux choice).nice moment with Satan, and a touching callback to season 2.showed MC’s magical progression, we are operating under our own power for once!.traditional demon bros escapades is a nice way to start things off!.We do get to catch up with Asmo though, and there’s a nice moment with Satan too. It’s quite Asmo centric - good for Asmo fans! - and although we spend time with the twins, we don’t actually spend much time WITH Beel or Belphie outwith the shenanigans that begin happening. I will say that Lesson 61 didn’t quite go for splitting us between all 9 demons, there was a good bit of balance, but it was very lacking in the three older brothers. It was nice to see all three in a little flash forward, though I think that again points to them not popping up next Lesson quite yet. I’m not super keen on how thirteen was portrayed in the flash forward (being a little snooty towards MC), but that’s moreso due to the fandom reaction to her arrival prior to the lesson tho. They may also hold off on introducing the three new characters in-story, as there’s obviously a nail polish sin swapping thing going on to contend with, plus getting time with each demon brother and royal demon. So I imagine they won’t be in Lesson 62 - they’ll appear in 63 at the earliest perhaps. I think the hard mode story will segue into Simeon, Luke, and Solomon arriving in the Devildom. Hard mode catches us up with Simeon as Solomon pays him a visit.
This is not theory stuff, it’s just my first brain thoughts! Okay, so it’s late here but lemme jot down my initial thoughts after completing normal and hard mode.
